Video editing

Video editing was something I’ve heard of in my twenties as some of my friends were passionate about creating AMVs (anime music videos). In those years I tried it myself once, I don’t even remember the software I used. But things changed in 2020, when I decided to make my own YouTube channel to present my original music. My old laptop was not the right machine to make videos, so in the first months I was forced to use Windows Moviemaker. But after one very successful campaign on Ko-Fi I bought a good new laptop and decided to use a good video editing software. After several tests I choose Kdenlive. It’s an open source free software, first developed for Linux and later for Windows and Mac, constantly upgraded by the community.
After taking the After effects course at Softuni in 2023 I started making my own animations.
